Yogi Bhajan spoke of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation being an art and a science to elevate you to find peace, balance and a sense of well-being within yourself.
Most of us from time to time experience some form of suffering. We're learning that nothing can stop this from happening. Money, accomplishment, success, a good positive intention, living in a cave doesn't work. Nothing works! There's nothing to hold onto to.
Except one thing we often overlook. One thing that has the power, infinite power, to give us peace balance and a sense of well-being. One thing that is always there, right under our noses. It's even right there in the paragraph above, written out plainly for all to see.
What is it? Let's reread it: We're learning that nothing can stop this (the suffering) from happening. Do you see it now?
It's nothing. Nothing works! There's nothing to hold onto, so stop trying to hold on! Stop!
When we become steady, still, and empty, we see our Self, which is constantly in peace, balance and well-being. In Kundalini Yoga we call this state Shuniya. It's stillness where awareness and Prana can flow and your Being can be felt.
It takes practice pranayam and bandha, and discipline to the practice for you to experience it. But haven't you had enough of suffering already? It's worth the effort and focus. Let's practice today!
